Amazing Curler!

I recieved Hot tools 1.5" Extended Barrel Curling Iron curtosy of Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. Hot Tools curling Iron ofers a variety of features to create a flawless hairstyle. The Gold barrel acts as a thermal conducting until that evenly distributes heat all the way across its s...urface. Menaing no matter how you curl your hair, it will be evenly heated all the way across its surface area. It has a rotatable cord that makes it easy to turn the iron in your hands as it is being used, but it makes it slightly difficult to set the curler down without it tipping of its stand. I found the easiest way to remedy this is to have the cord hang off the edge of the counter, which brings back the curlers equilibrium. It creates the most beautiful full volume curls in a manner of seconds. The iron itself offers a range of temperatures from 280 degrees (F) to 480 degrees (F). I set it at 380 and it took all of 2 minutes to get hot-hot. It has an automatic 2 hour shut off, but it only took 30 minutes for me to style my medium-thick wavy hair. (I did use in conjunction with Not Your Mother's Thermal Heat Spray to protect my hair.) Another feautre would be that there is a black plastic tip at the extended end, which is meant to help stabalize and roll the hair in the iron without getting too hot, but about 15 minutes in I noticed the piece was almost equally as warm at the actual iron was. Just a warning to be careful and monitor your tool as you are using it. A heat glove would also help here. Its 2 volt compatible so it is great for travel and use with an adapter without shorting out the iron (110v Us, 220v rest of globe). Overall, special attention was put not only into the features this product has, but specifically how a person would use these features, and I really appreciate that Hot Tools took that extra step to consider the end-user. My curls were big and volumous, and stayed in its curl pattern until I brushed them out that evening (i also tested a wide tooth comb and did not affect the curl pattern excpet by making it slightly looser). It got hot very quickly, which saved me time in my morning routine, and my curls lasted all through my busy day. This is a fantastic tool for busy women, moms on the run, and hairstylists trying to maximize their time. With a price tag of only $69.99 at Ulta, it is most certainly worth the money spent, and with that money spent, the time saved will pay its own self back. Its afforable, easipy used and easipy maintained. I am very pleased with this product, and Im excited to be adding it to my every day routine!
