Supporting industry transformation
The bulk of Ulta Beauty’s carbon emissions comes from the sourcing and manufacturing of the products we buy and sell. Through our collaboration with and support of our brand partners, we have an opportunity to meaningfully reduce environmental impact, incentivize industry transformation and establish more sustainable practices across our supply chain.
Harnessing renewable energy
Investments in clean energy are a win-win: lower emissions and increased cost efficiency. We partner with landlords to support the installation of on-site photovoltaic systems, which can help reduce our carbon footprint and lower energy costs. Currently, we have two stores and one distribution center with on-site renewable energy installations.
