Dry Scalp Solutions
A happy scalp equals happy hair! Dry scalp solutions are all about hydration, nourishment, and care that soothe irritation and flakes while giving your hair its healthiest start. Our product recommendations will help you restore moisture and promote a healthy scalp environment.
How to hydrate your scalp?
Hydrating your scalp involves more than just moisturizing your hair. Look for shampoos and conditioners specifically formulated for dry scalps, containing ingredients like hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and glycerin. Apply a leave-in conditioner or scalp serum regularly, and consider incorporating a weekly scalp massage with natural oils like jojoba or coconut oil to enhance circulation and moisture absorption. Avoid excessive heat styling and harsh chemical treatments, which can further dehydrate the scalp.
How to remove scalp build up?
Scalp buildup, caused by product residue, sebum, and dead skin cells, can worsen dryness and itchiness. Use a clarifying shampoo once or twice a month to thoroughly cleanse the scalp. Products with apple cider vinegar can also help balance pH levels and remove buildup. For a more intensive treatment, try a scalp scrub containing physical exfoliants or chemical exfoliants like AHAs or BHAs. Ensure you rinse thoroughly to prevent further irritation.
