Um, just use sulfate-free conditioner instead..
Look, I LOVE Arctic Fox hair colors, but this is just a rip-off of the highest order. I literally have ALWAYS just used conditioner as a mix-in for my hair colors (purples, pinks) to tone it down, or to make colors of varying degrees from the same bottle for an ombre look. I admit, I have not tried using conditioner to mix with my dye but I also want to make sure my hair color is coming out correctly. I like how soft Arctic Fox dyes and this diluter make my hair feel so I'll keep using again and again. I use this diluter with AF dyes, which I have pretty dark/strong pigmentation right out of the bottle. I tend to prefer how the color looks after 3 washes so it makes sense for me to mix this diluter to make a lighter shade. You're kind of doing guess work when mixing but I will say that you do need to use a lot of diluter with AF dyes to actually get them lighter. In my book, it's better to be too dark than to be too light though, since I can always just wash my hair. But if you're trying to go for pastel hair, I'd definitely opt for more of a 1:5 dye to diluter ratio.

Also, using conditioner makes your hair much softer after all that processing. I guess Arctic Fox is banking on ppl not doing their research before coloring their hair for the first time? LoL
Answer to Emily
No, it has no pigment
Question.
Would I be able to just dye my hair with this and it would turn into like a very light silver or white?
