Formulated Without
- Formaldehyde, toluene, DPB (dibutyl phthalate), formaldehyde resin, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, xylene, triphenyl phosphate, MIT (methylisothiazolinone) and parabens
For best results, clean nails thoroughly of natural oils to ensure maximum base coat and nail polish adhesion. Make sure to use acetone-based nail polish remover or a nail dehydrating solution to properly prep the nail plate.
Apply 1 to 2 coats of Smoothing Base on clean, dry nails. Wrap under the tips of your nails to help prevent tip wear.
Allow to dry to the touch before applying your favorite nail polish. Or, wear 2 coats alone for a conditioned natural look!

Amazing Nail Polish!
I wear the base coat on its own with 2 to 3 layers. It doesn't look streaky or chip easily. It is the color I've been looking for my whole life! Subtle and beautiful! Covers nail imperfections. 10/10
Great product…..at first
I'm torn about this product — on one hand (no pun intended) it works and looks great, but on the other, its overall life span inside the bottle seems to be pretty short. I've tried buying multiple bottles and unfortunately, I'm still having the same issue with it getting thick and stringy before it even reaches the halfway mark. I store all of my polishes in a dark, cool environment and I always make sure the cap is on as tight as possible, so my only guess is that it's just the formula itself—which is a real bummer because without factoring in that issue, it would be the perfect base coat. It self levels and hides/blurs your nail line perfectly —and while it didn't help prevent additional staining, the pink tint did help neutralize the stains I already had. Overall, it's a really nice base coat and would have been one of my favorites had it lasted longer. Using thinner did help a bit, but by the next time you go to use it, it's back to being thick and stringy again. With having to add additional thinner each time, it caused it to become streaky. I would only recommend this product if having to buy a new bottle every time it gets to the halfway point doesn't bother you and you can afford it.
Holy grail
Best long wearing base coat, I used 2 layers to build opacity, then added a sheer shimmer on top and then the Holo Taco Glossy Taco. Amazing, truly.

I love the entire Halo Taco range. They are so interesting and pretty. I always get compliments on my nails and I'm far from a professional. :-)
