I love the concept, love the product but here's a few things I noticed. If I prep my skin as I usually would; wash, moisturize, allowing product dry town time etc. The beauty balm does not stay on the skin, becomes patchy, rubs off rather quickly. One of the worst foundations
I was excited to try this foundation stick since I like the dewy finish and the general idea. I like the shade and how easy to apply, but everything else is just so bad. I don't know where to start, but this is just not for me. First, I have pretty dry skin during winter, but this thing doesn't dry so it doesn't sit on my face at all. It literally tranfers to everywhere!!! Though I've used setting powder and tried to be extra careful, it is still everywhere - tissues, hands, my clothes. Second, it has a bad smell. Last, it has almost no coverage though the texture is pretty heavy. It also sits on top of uneven skin… I don't even undertstand why a greasy and heavy product can have these problems…
I really wanted to like this product
Working with this product felt like a battle I was losing every time. It is hard to apply and blend evenly. The texture is strange and didn't work well with my dry skin. I tried multiple different primers and skin preps…nothing worked. For the price I would recommend to pass on this one.
I wish I didn't buy
A sales associate talked me into buying this and I'm so disappointed. The shade and creaminess sold me but it just isn't worth the money when there are so many better products out there. I do like that it's easy to throw in my purse for a quick under eye touch up and I'm trying to use it since I already used it multiple times but I will not be purchasing again.
Not worth it
I wish I was exaggerating when I said this was one of the worst products I have ever purchased. Right off the bat, it smells terrible, like playdough or something, and it is very strong. But even worse is the performance. If you have any texture to your skin, or fuzz on your face, it will sit on top of all of it. It was tough to blend, and just gives the appearance of sitting on top of everything like a mask. It also just stays tacky feeling and doesn't really dry down. The idea and application seems nice in theory, but the actual performance just does not work.
It smelled
This product did have good coverage but it had a horrible smell to it. I had to return it.
