After reading so many negative comments about the new version of Beauty Flash Balm, I still decided to try a sample and was completely disappointed just like all its former loyal customers. I had been buying this balm for many years - it was my favorite face cream. I am glad that I still have a tube with the old version in the fridge. But no purchasing it in future. The gel texture, the smell are very unpleasant and do nothing to my skin in comparison with the beautiful results of using the previous version. A Clarins representative recommended here to replace the balm with SOS primer. I bought it and it does not even come close to the former Beauty Flash Balm. I still cannot believe that Clarins can do such things to its reputation.

I am so disappointed with this 'newly imagined' Beauty Flash Balm. It was awful. Instead of protecting my skin and keeping the makeup intanct, this 'NEW' Flash Balm absolved my foundation that in a few hours I looked worse than no-makeup face. I've been using Clarins since my young adulthood. Among my cherished product was the 'OLD' Beauty Flash Balm. So, thinking that I must have applied wrongly, I've tried several times more, using less skincare products and waited before applying this 'newly imagined' Flash Balm in different days. The results were the same leaving my face with awful looking skin. I don't understand why Clarins destroyed a perfectly good product. I implore you to please 'BRING THE OLD FORMULA BACK!'.

Zero stars is more fitting. Like so many others, I have used Clarins for decades. The old Beauty Flash Balm was one of my favorite products, one that I kept with me at all times. If my skin felt dry or dull at any point throughout the day, I'd pat that on and it was like it revived me. This new formula should not have the same name. Clarins, if you HAVE to change formulas - especially so drastically, at least have the decency to rename the product. I never would have bought this again had I known it was NOTHING like the one I've used for so many years. The color, the smell, the consistency, the texture, the result…completely different. I feel like anyone who left a good review can't possibly have used the old formula, and don't know what they're missing!
Skin burns using
Does anyone elses skin burn when they use this product? I leave it on for 5 minutes and during that time it burns/irritates my skin.
