I bought this on a whim because my usual moisturisers were sold out and this was cheap with good reviews. I have rosacea and sensitive skin, and this is is gentle on my skin. However, I wouldn't really say it calms or soothes my skin, and doesn't visibly reduce redness. It does make my skin super so...

I have acne prone skin and this has never broken me out- it is light weight yet high impact. My skin looks very glowy and feels smoother than ever. I haven't had any problems with how foundation sits over this product. It is a great price for the quality!
ingredients that work
Ive been using this barrier cream and the biome serum daily for three months and they've both made improvements to my skin. i have combo acne prone but also sensitive skin that use to often feel dehydrated and oily. these products have healed my skin barrier and now my skin is balanced, not oily through the day. i get less acne because my skin isnt oily and iritated. and my skin tone is more even, less red. i really love the texture of this cream, its lightweight and sinks in. i like to mix it into my retinol and vit c products to make them more hydrating and creamy. i def plan to repurchase.
great for sensitive skin
I got this on sale, and will repurchase foreverrrr. Most products for sensitive skin have oatmeal, which I'm allergic to, but this has no oatmeal, no fragrance, soothing plant extracts, and a great texture. Love this stuff.
NOT a barrier cream at all
Barrier creams are thick and heavy. This is much lighter like a serum. As someone with dry skin who was really hoping for heavy moisture, I was very disappointed. I have to add an oil to it to make it work. Even my hands feel dry after using this.

I also usually like a very glowy/dewy look (I love Tatcha's Dewy Cream, and I usually buy Lancome's Liquid Glow Moisturiser), and for reference this is not that type of moisturiser. It does give off a light shine. Overall, I'd say it's a good moisturiser at a good price. I'd recommend it as a simple gentle one, but wouldn't say it's amazing hence me not giving 4/5 stars.
