Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve is an intense pre-shampoo treatment, rich in proteins that target hair bonds to strengthen and repair from the inside out.
Benefits
- Hair is made of a keratin structure, which is reinforced by so-called hair bonds. Curlsmith's Bond Curl targets all 3 types of hair bonds to help restore hair fiber strength.
- Enriched with proteins to fortify the hair and make it more elastic.
- Balancing protein-rich and moisturizing products in your routine is key to strengthen and protect the hair against damage. The more damaged and porous your hair is, the more protein-rich products you should use.
- Proteins help lock in moisture better so hair looks hydrated, silkier and shiny.
- Hair feels stronger and protected.
- Reduces the appearance of damage and split ends.
- Makes hair look and feel healthier.
- Makes hair look and feel repaired.
- Helps tame frizz and make curls more defined.
- Makes hair less unruly and less tangled.
- Suitable for all hair types, particularly for weak, high porosity or damaged hair.
- Vegan, cruelty free, clean ingredients and curly girl friendly.
- Designed for all curls and texture types.
Key Ingredients
- Powerful and unique triple-active bond complex that targets and fortifies all three types of hair bonds that make up the hair structure
- Chia proteins to help fight against damage to the hair keratin structure
- Sweet Almond oil to seal nourishment into the hair shaft
- Blend of nutrient-rich superfoods (Prickly Pear, Kale, Guava, Shiitake Mushroom, Blackcurrant and Pumpkin Seeds)
Formulated Without
- Sulfates

Apply generously on damp hair until it is fully saturated. Leave on for a minimum of 15 minutes (or up to 30 if you have mid-high porosity hair due to coloring, heat styling or damage). Rinse off thoroughly and follow with your favorite Curlsmith Cleanser, Conditioner and Stylers.
How Often Should You Use The Bond Curl Rehab Salve?
This will depend on your hair's porosity. To find this out, spray some water on a strand of dry, clean, product-free hair.
- High Porosity: The water will instantly absorb inside the hair. Use every 2-3 wash days for at least 30 minutes
- Medium Porosity: The water will form droplets on the surface of the hair and then absorb inside. Use every 3-4 wash days for at least 20 minutes
- Low Porosity: The water will form droplets on the surface of the hair, without absorbing. Use every 4-5 wash days for at least 15 minutes

What a huge difference!
First, I have asthma and allergies, so the scent of a product can be a deal breaker. I've had actual medical emergencies from the perfume used in hair products. For other people with scent issues, these are my usual triggers: perfume/cologne/etc, fruit scents, spice. This product has a noticeable sc...

Maybe next time, but not today.
Disclaimer, I'm recovering from years of moisture-overload, so keep that in mind as you read this review. Ngl, the first time I used this I didn't read the instructions and applied it like a deep conditioner. The second time I not only read the instructions, but I also watched two detailed videos ...

Good Replenisher
This works wonders on my thin, fine, dry, long, colored hair. My wavy/curly hair loves it. For me, the only down side is I need a lot. The 8 of bottle only lasts about 5 treatments. I don't know if this is due to my length or because my hair is dry. Will continue using it as a special treat. (I have been using this for a few years.)
