the smell isn't great and yeah it's greasy but first time I used it was 4 shades darker,it does the job for sure! hands down my go to!! get it!

So as some others I read the the bad reviews and was gonna go back the the FoxTan for indoor lotion, which is the same price at Maui. But I liked the way it smelled and the good reviews were enough to try it. Now, lets start out with what I don't like. 1.Is it greasy, absolutely it is and I'm not a fan of that kind of tanning lotions. 2.I have take different clothes to put on after I tan if I come straight from work because I don't want any oils on my good clothes. I only tan for s few months a year, as I'm a natural red head, but I can tan if done slowly and I don't burn myself. I worked in tanning salons throughout my teens and early 20s and have tried countless lotions and I thought I had found the best if the best over the last 25 years. I literally tried so many lotions, and always thought the ones wirh built in bronzer were the best for me since I don't get very dark. For the last 3 years I've used the FoxTan and I had the best tan if my life! But, the smell was gross afterwards and I hated it so I wanted to try something different and I learned with the foxtan I didn't need a bronzer to get a great looking tan. Now for what I like. 1. I myself love the smell! 2. I don't smell after and my skin is super hydrated and soft! 3. My color after 5 times in a level 3(12 minute bed) of only going 6 min, 7 min, 8, min, 9 min, 9 min is the best ive had my entire life and I haven't burned yet. But I take it slow, as to not burn and not damage my skin further than i am by tanning. I would say if you can work with the greasy then give it a try!

Im so happy I didnt listen to other reviews and decided to buy! This smells wonderful, like coffee and vanilla...very beachy. It doesnt have that tanning bed smell! and its very moisturizing. Im guessing everyone that used it and said it was too greasy used too much. It totally absorbed into my skin. You have to shake before using. It takes forever for me to tan, so i will update when i use the bed more than once...but i would definitely recommend based on smell and feel. It makes me want to try the other products! and I bought this with my own money, no one is paying me for the review.

Works well spreads easily smells great!
