- Calendula: native to the Mediterranean, known for skin soothing properties and commonly used in skincare products for oily skin types
- Glycerin: a well-known skincare ingredient, is highly compatible and naturally occurring within skin; within Kiehl's formulas, it is a powerful humectant known to help retain moisture and soften skin
Rinse face and hands with warm water. Pump gel into damp hands and work into a lather. Gently massage lather onto face using a circular motion and avoiding the eye area. Rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry and follow with Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner.

Love this but may be too much for those with sensitive skin
I love this - I love calendula smells, so I might be biased. At first, I believe my skin was compromised and inflamed when I first tried this and so it stung a lot like a chemical burn (it must be the citrus-based ingredients). But then over time, as my skin healed, it worked great. I bought the 7.8 fl oz bottle over a year ago, and I'm still working through it. My boyfriend also likes using this. I would recommend this for most people with normal skin types, but maybe not if you have extremely sensitive skin due to the acidic ingredients.

I bought this because I have oily yet sensitive skin. At first I really liked this cleanser, but over time I found this cleanser to be extremely drying and causing breakouts, even though I have very oily skin. I stopped using it. The dryness and breakouts have stopped.
