Worst eye shadow I've ever tried
I have used the RMS Eyelights shadows and love them. I was really excited for a matte version to use as a base. These apply HORRIBLY. They are patchy and when you go over them to try and apply more, whatever is there is rubbed away. I tried using a brush in case that worked better, but nope. And when I was finally able to deposit some, they made my eye lid look dry. I tried primer and concealer underneath and still couldn't get these to look decent. These are going back. For there price I am not hanging on to them in the hopes I can make them work. It's a shame because the colors I bought are lovely.

The first time I tried using the new cashmere eyelights I was in a hurry and thought I couldnt apply evenly so i wiped it off. The 2nd time I also thought the color wasn't even, I was applying with my finger, but I left it on and forgot. Later in the day my friend complemented me and said your eye shadow looks amazing and really brightens your eyes I looked in the mirror and she was right, AND it looked PERFECT. It takes a second to dry down. I love it and will purchase more colors. I hadn't been wear shadow so I was out of practice. It doesn't feel heavy like you are wearing shadows and doesn't sit in my creases.

I have Cashmere Matte Eyelights in Tundra Taupe. It is similar to Eyelights in Moondust. The differences are in application, lasting color, and final effect. Moondust is a frosty tone, while Tundra Taupe is, of course, a matte color. I like it very much. It goes on easier than Moondust; while I use a flat brush with Moondust, I use my finger with Tundra Taupe. It blends beautifully and it lasts and lasts. You might have to massage the crease a tiny bit over the course of a long day but it's very different from Moonodust in this regard, where every time you use the restroom you're massaging the color out of the crease, which isn't bad but the difference is noticeable. The applicator is also very easy to use. I apply it to the back of my hand and then dab it on the eyelid. There is a pink color coming out that I'm anxious to try, it looks very pretty.

I love the matte finish especially for the mature skin. It does not settle in creases. The colors are neutral and will go anything you are wearing. I truly appreciate the packaging with the narrow tip. It allows a small amount of product to come out without any waste.
