This is new packaging and a different color than the previous cleanser by the same name. Is it the same formula?

Q
Does this remove all makeup?
Asked by Sue
Official Answer By Origins US EN
Thank you for your question! Origins Checks and Balances dissolves impurities and makeup for a creamy, refreshing wash. For longer-wearing makeup like waterproof mascara and lipsticks, we suggest a double-cleanse using Origins Checks and Balances Milky Oil first to melt away makeup. Then, follow with Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash for a makeup free finish! Was this answer helpful to you

Origins has a strong belief that cosmetic animal testing is not necessary and should be eliminated worldwide. Checks & Balances Frothy Face Wash

I began using Checks & Balances Frothy Face Wash I guess when it first came on the market! It is a wonderful product that cleanes off all make up and leaves my face feeling soft and thoroughly cleaned. A few months ago I failed to reorder this product when I ran out of it, so I bought a national bra...

I'm in the minority but... DRYING!

I've been perpetually perplexed at how others rave on this face wash. I've tried it now a handful of times, each time far from the previous, wondering if the prior were just anomalies. But sure enough every use feels like I'm stripping my skin of all moisture and leaves it in a horribly dry, uncomfo...

Perfect

I have combination oily skin. This is just what I need and want for a daily face wash. My skin doesn't feel tight or stripped after using, just clean and refreshed. I love the subtle minty feeling of this, and it foams up really well. A little goes a long way - I only use a pea sized amount - and Ive had my current tube for over a year now, so that makes the price worth it to me. I don't wear makeup often, so I dont have much experience to share about that, but if I were to wear heavier/longwearing makeup, I'd probably use this as a second cleanse after an oil cleanser. Will definitely repurchase.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Frothy for sure

So far, so good. I don't know that's it's done anything magical for my skin yet, but I like it and I like that just a tiny pea size is more than enough for my face. I mix it with my beaded exfoliating wash for a good deep cleanse

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I hate you love you, Checks & Balances

I kind of hate how much my skin loves this. I got a sample a few years ago and here I am, continuing to repurchase. I wait for the sales though. This stuff is so so good. A little goes a long way. It's creamy and frothy and smells so nice. My skin LOVES this. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. $$$$ for something I wash down the drain- literally.

I asked for this product for Christmas because I'd used it a couple other times and it wirked great! I use it once in the morning and once at night and I haven't fully run out yet! I don't really have bad acne but do get a little up on my forehead sometimes and this stuff really helps keep it away!
