It's okay-ish
I have to use much more effort to be able to get all of the makeup out of my brushes and sponges with this soap compared to others I've tried. I gave up eventually and just went back to the BB soap bar, baby shampoo, or Dawn dish soap. I'd 100% advise against using this on your natural hair brushes,...

I have to use much more effort to be able to get all of the makeup out of my brushes and sponges with this soap compared to others I've tried. I gave up eventually and just went back to the BB soap bar, baby shampoo, or Dawn dish soap. I'd 100% advise against using this on your natural hair brushes, only synthetic. On top of that, I really did not enjoy how the soap had the scent you'd find in the soap used in grocery store restrooms. It lingered in my tools, so I ended up using other cleansers to get the smell out. The only pro in my opinion is the portability of the soap's container, which I'll probably repurpose.

I like this product but I don't know that it's too different from just a bar of soap. It works pretty well, I like to get the soap on my brush and then use one of those textured mats/bowls. Might be worth just trying a bar of soap if you're on a budget

The old charcoal version cleaned so much more thoroughly than this one. This works and will clean off makeup brushes, but does not get it all off my sponges.
Does not clean well
This soap is useless. Does not remove concealer or foundation from the brush. Not effective at all.
Definitely does its job
I bought this to get the green foundation out of my makeup brushes from Halloween and it was a breeze. Best solid cleanser I've used yet.
