Disappointing color, but super soft hair!
I was selected by TopBox to receive the Color Depositing Mask in Peek-a-Blue for free in exchange for my honest review. The color description on the tube said it was a Steely Blue Gray. With this being a hot trend right now I was super excited to try this color. I immediately went to the IGK website...

Does nothing
My hair is long, fine, virgin, medium brown with red tints. I got 3 different colors, Pitch Black, Electric Bronze and On the Money. I wanted to play around and see if I could get more copper tones, or maybe tint my grays a bit. Just change it up slightly, but really no big expectations from the product. It did nothing. I did test strands first, using the way it was instructed and my hair looked exactly the same. It attempted a few more times, including on the top of my hair where there is more gray and its lighter from sun exposure. Left it on for 45 minutes. My hair looks exactly the same. Such a waste of time and money. I wasnt expecting life changing results. But considering my hair is silky and fine, the fact it was tangling afterwards, it wasnt even a decent hair mask. I deep condition once a week, as using regular conditioner tends to weigh down my hair. Once a week is enough to keep it healthy. As a conditioning mask, this product was still a fail. What a shame!
Fiery Copper review
I will admit that reading these reviews had me worried my skin and bathroom would be stained - but that was not the case. I would attribute the issues with staining down to user error so take those comments with a grain of salt. If youre intentional with your application and take your time, while wearing gloves and using dark colored towels, you will not have stains everywhere. Loved the sheer effect, going to try out the intense effect in a bit!
After time spent cleaning, better off at a salon.
I used Moon Dance with gloves for application, but not rinse out. This Mask stained absolutely everything, hands, back, neck ears. I spent the day rubbing my skin down with olive oil to try and lift the stains and a good 45 minutes cleaning my tub. The next night, I shampooed my hair 3…three times and so so SO much color came out of my hair every time that I had to clean my shower intensely…again! All of this time spent I think I would rather just get toned at a salon.
HORRIBLE
stained everything blue. my shower, my hands, my neck. everythingggggg!!!!! i got this to touch uo my blue black color and it was the worst mistake i ever made. i wojld give this product zero stars if it let me. do not buy the color moon dance
DO NOT buy Moon Dance
I used this and wore gloves because it advised it "could stain". My scalp was stained bright blue, my whole body, and my shower were stained so bad. I literally used alcohol, acetone, baby oil, and olive oil to get this out of my skin which was a process of over 6 hours.
