Apply generously to clean hair and distribute evenly. Leave for one to five minutes on wet hair for a sheer color effect, or 10 to 15 minutes on dry hair for an intense color effect. Rinse thoroughly.

Disappointing color, but super soft hair!
I was selected by TopBox to receive the Color Depositing Mask in Peek-a-Blue for free in exchange for my honest review. The color description on the tube said it was a Steely Blue Gray. DO NOT BUY THIS. I have dirty blonde hair and wanted to even out the brown color. My hair ended up having a gross, green tint that I needed to go to the salon to fix. And the green tint was very noticeable…it was mortifying to go into work like this.

I have been using the Tokyo lights shade to maintain a my purple ombré for years. It lasts so long. These are intensely pigmented so you must wear gloves and be cautious where you get it. Treat it like hair dye, not a regular mask!
good product
I bleached my hair for years and went back to my natural dark brown color a few months ago. i haven't had time to get back into the salon yet to touch up my color (the bleached hairs were turning a reddish color). i bought brown bella when this product was on sale, and jt did exactly what i wanted it to. you do have to be careful on certain surfaces to avoid stains, but it didnt stain my skin at all or anything in my bathroom. i wouldn't say it's particularly hydrating, but it didn't dry out my hair either. my biggest con is that it was completely gone in two washes, so it's not very cost-effective as a long-term fix. i knew it was semi-permanant of course, and i'd much rather it wash out than stain my hair. it's a great tool for touching up for an event or something! i got two used out of one bottle. i washed my hair with clarifying shampoo, dried it completely, used the mask, and then rinsed my hair and used conditioner. definitely try to wash your hair less if you want to use this product and get as much wear out of it as possible. highly recommend!
