1: Apply to pre-shampooed, damp hair. Wear gloves.
2: Open color tube and squeeze entire contents into developer bottle.
3: Shake thoroughly until color mixture is totally blended.
4: Use tip end to make 1/2" sections throughout your hair and apply color mixture until completely saturated, working from the front to the back of your head.
5: Put processing cap on and leave color on for 20 minutes.
6: Using lukewarm water, rinse out color until water runs clear. For best results, follow with dpHUE Color Fresh Shampoo and Conditioner. Style as usual.

This is not worth the money. It comes with no conditioner, saying on the instructions to buy their shampoo conditioner combo; of course. The hair color tube, the one you squeeze into the bottle, was so difficult to squeeze. A fight for my life I tell you. It was then tough to mix in, when shaking. The gloves ripped easily and I have petite hands. I am aware it says Demi but it didn't cover the few grays I have. I mean I thought I was putting too much product on my roots and it was worthless. The price tag is laughable for this poor excuse of a product. A waste of money and gives unimpressive color coverage.

I have naturally dark brown hair but had a lot of blonde for awhile. Around 9 months ago, I went dark again so my hairdresser filled the blonde with red and then took me to a nice, rich brown. But as my hair has grown out, my natural color is becoming more obvious and the red has been showing through the mids and ends. Plus I'm starting to get grays coming through like tinsel and I was hoping to find an affordable and easy way to keep a nice, rich, and even dark brown. It feels so silly to pay $200-$300 just to have the hair color I have but even it out! My amazing hairdresser recommended this so I can just do it myself. This is my first time dyeing my own hair too. It was super simple! I watched a couple videos to make sure I sectioned it and applied the dye thoroughly but with everything else I followed the provided instructions. It was pretty approachable. I didn't expect it to be so soft and feel so healthy after!! The tone is gorgeous and is a noticeable difference (in a good way). My tone looks so even and rich. It really looks like I went to the salon. The grays are not fully covered (which I didn't expect with a Demi-permanent) but they are blended pretty well so they're not as obvious. My hair is long-ish, in my mid-back area, and one box easily covered it all. I even had a little extra. I got 2 boxes to be safe and am happy to have another one for later. The smell wasn't bad, which is great because I'm pregnant and having an ammonia free and low-scent dye is important! If you're looking for a low maintenance solution to keep up with hair as it grows out or to help blend some grays, I couldn't recommend this enough.

Cool Blonde did not change my hair color at all, but only made it more shiny. I was a golden light blonde with some gray hair roots at the part before I started the coloring. Unfortunately, it did not cover ANY grays at all.
