I asked my hair dresser for something that would help calm my color-treated frizzies. This is the bomb. My hair is like silk after washing and drying (I also use the conditioner and the leave-in solution). I read the other reviews from a year ago, and wonder if Matrix revamped the formula.

I have LOVED the Solutionist So Bright and my hair salon Promised the total results was the same... IT IS NOTHING LIKE SO BRIGHT!!! I'm so disappointed, my hair feels like Straw after shampooing. I get Frizz and I just hate this shampoo!

Hair Type Straight Hair
I bought this shampoo because my stylist recommended it to me and it worked great for the a few months. I bought a second bottle and 2 washes in and my scalp is so itchy and my hair feels like straw and so so dry. I switched back to Redken and I haven't had any problems.
Shrinkflation Strikes Again
I used to love this shampoo. The scent is great and it really leaves your hair feeling soft and strong. However, my newest bottle (late 2024) has a very stark difference in consistency. The shampoo I'm used to is thicker, but this new bottle is watery and runny. It's obvious the formula has changed to include more water and less actual product. Like many other brands it seems they are adjusting the ingredients to allow for more profit with less product. It's unfortunate because for the price I would expect better results. Even the cheapest shampoos aren't this runny. I hope the brand reverses course and provides customers with the quality they expect.

My hair stylist was using this on my hair every time I went in. Grabbed the product myself. Used it for a year and it helped strengthen and bring my hair back to life. Stopped using it for a bit. Came back to find they changed the look of the bottles. Purchased the new looking bottles. Still works and feels the same! I love it. This is the only hair product that doesn't dry out my hair. I'm able to run my fingers through my hair after putting the conditioner. I will forever restock this product as my go to hair shampoo.
