A Few Pro Tips Before You Color: Your hair doesn't need to be squeaky-clean, but it should definitely be free of heavy styling products. (They can coat the hair and block the color from working to its maximum.) Hair color and activator should be at room temperature before mixing. Love your linens? Feel free to use a darker towel and pillowcase after the first couple of washes to keep them protected from any color transfer. If your hair is chemically straightened, relaxed, or permed, we recommend waiting two weeks to color after your last chemical treatment.

ColorWonder is a temporary demi-permanent hair color and will fade and lighten with shampoo. To speed up this process we suggest using an over-the-counter clarifying shampoo. Clarifying shampoos are designed to help remove product or environmental build-up from the scalp and hair and as a result, takes out color molecules pretty quickly as well - helpful when trying to lighten up the color!Was this answer helpful to you

*I received this product complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.* This dye was super easy to apply and I loved that it came with everything I needed to color my hair (minus clips). The packaging was definitely unique as I've not seen many brands use anything other than a basic square box, tube, or jar. The shade I got was Better Off Bronze-6MC (reddish-brown). The instructions were easy to follow and the gloves weren't your standard plastic, oversized ones. The scent wasn't too bad, but it wasn't that great either compared to other brands I've used in the past. My hair is naturally dark brown up until about halfway down to my ends then turns red/light brown so the coverage wasn't even for me due to that. My hair ended up super dark toned on top and almost like a slightly darker mahogany towards the ends. In natural lighting it definitely looks more red than anything and with indoor lighting it's dark with a red tinge. The reason that I gave 3 stars instead of 5 was due to breakage, damage, and difficulty with rinsing out. I had to rinse for way longer than I would have with other brands and as I was rinsing, a lot of hair was breaking off and coming out. I had to condition multiple times to get my hair in a safe enough state to blow dry and brush. My ends probably need to be trimmed off now due to the ends now feeling fried. This is a great product if you don't mind some breakage and great it you don't mind the extra steps to get your hair in a stable state, but I probably wouldn't consider it for regular use.

I Did like this color, and want to continue with this color, because my roots are grey, and the blonde color i was using was making my hair brassy, now the only issue i have is, some parts of my hair are purple, how do i tone that down
