A Few Pro Tips Before You Color: Your hair doesn't need to be squeaky-clean, but it should definitely be free of heavy styling products. (They can coat the hair and block the color from working to its maximum.) Hair color and activator should be at room temperature before mixing. Love your linens? Feel free to use a darker towel and pillowcase after the first couple of washes to keep them protected from any color transfer. If your hair is chemically straightened, relaxed, or permed, we recommend waiting two weeks to color after your last chemical treatment.

    Q
I used this and it made my hair too dark, I don't like it at all. How do I remove it without taking all of my natural hair color.
    Asked by Dp
Official Answer By Madison Reed - Syndication
Hi, we are so sorry to hear the results were darker than expected. ColorWonder is a temporary demi-permanent hair color and will fade and lighten with shampoo. To speed up this process we suggest using an over-the-counter clarifying shampoo. Clarifying shampoos are designed to help remove product or environmental build-up from the scalp and hair and as a result, takes out color molecules pretty quickly as well - helpful when trying to lighten up the color! Was this answer helpful to you

This makes going grey a game changer!

This year I made the decision to grow out my greys. It started with putting my MR subscription on hold for 3 months. Then a few weeks ago I saw my stylist to have all of the color past my new grow out bleached. Over the past two weeks I've been getting used to it being blond but really just wanted t...

I used the sites photo image to see if the 8S would work for what I was trying to accomplish in my grey transition. I wanted to soften demarcation but bring out my grey! The final result was very close to what was projected by the site image: I'm very pleased with the results.

I stuggled choosing betweenuconnic blonde and icconic bronde. I was afraid the blonde might be too light. I has ask blonde hair with some old highlighrs and was hoping to blend. Watched a bunch of reviews and videos and went with uconnic blonde. I hate to think how dark my hair woukd have ended up if iI'd chosen the bronde. Ny hair is now mushroom color . Sigh And i leave on vacation in 48 hrs.

This is a heeeee no from me, dawg. I got UConnic Blonde. Im already blonde. The same color pretty much. Lol This isnt blonde. It made my hair dark brown?? Scent wasn't bad. Instructions were a little wonky tbh. It actually has a LOT of product in one box! It lathers up nice! My hair is absolute straw now though. My biggest warning?? The shampoo and conditioner. Do NOT get it in your eyes!!! Yiiiiikes. Worst feeling ever. Inaccurate color, chemical burning in eyes from shampoo/conditioner and drying my hair out terribly? Ill just keep using regular Madison Reed hair color!! It matches my color perfectly, conditions my hair and makes it feel healthier after coloring somehow.

I did a test on a small section of my hair, as I have a lot of hair and one pack will not be enough, I tried and it did color my hair a little, not too much as I have really dark color... the application process was pretty straightfoward, the scent is a little strong but not that bad and the shade is beautiful... It gave my hair a good shine and didnt damage my curls so I was pleased.

*i received this product for free in exchange for my honest review* Wow! I really like this hair color. The shade is gorgeous. It was easy to mix and apply. My sister helped me and she would squeeze some out of the bottle onto my hair, then use a color brush to bring it down my lengths. It was smooth and creamy every step of the way. The dye did not have an overpowering smell. In fact, I only smelled it when it was right up next to my nose for a moment after a small bit was hand laid over my head and draped next to my nose lol. The first rinse takes FOREVER to run clear. I was starting to think it never would. But once it was done and I'd dried and straightened my hair, it was all worth it. The processing time is really very short, and I appreciate getting such a beautiful color without having to use bleach prior to applying the color. I'm in my early 30's, and have fine, thin, dry/brittle, frizzy and wavy hair.
