A little too oily for me.
I have normal skin. I love using makeup cleansing balms as the first step to removing my makeup at the end of the day. I tried the CeraVe Makeup Removing Cleanser Balm and it quickly and easily melted my makeup away - like most balms do. However, it left a very slimy , slippery , oily residue after ...

I can't get past the smell
This works pretty good for removing my makeup, even waterproof mascara, but the smell is so much. That I dread using it. The smell alone is enough for me to keep looking for a different make up removing balm.
Bad
I don't like this product. Melts easily but leaves a cast that is so difficult to wash off. Would not repurchase.
Not For Oily Skin
It is more waxy than a typical cleansing balm would be. It gets off surface level impurities but it does nothing for my sebaceous filaments. You can find better for a better price as well.
so-so first cleanse
I bought this as an alternative to my regular cleaning oil, but this does NOT remove all the makeup and leaves an oil film on the skin. had to use my cleanser twice to remove.
Easily removes all make up
I've been using this cleansing balm for years because it's so effective and gentle. I use lash glue on my eyebrows every day and this takes it right off, no problem. It also melts away eyeliner and mascara (even waterproof!) without having to scrub at all.
