Apply with your fingertips
-Dot onto your cheeks, forehead, chin and nose, then blend outward.

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses Reapply at least every 2 hours. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.

unfortunately not good for dry skin
this product has such high reviews but never once worked for me. i tried mixing with my normal moisturizer and yet the tint/color always separated when I applied to my skin and looked bad.
Great for someone that doesn't do makeup
This was recommended to me as I was looking for something just to make me look and feel a tiny bit more put together during the day. (I normally don't wear any makeup). Very easy to apply, smooths out my skin just enough, and I actully forgot I had it on.

Horrible, why is this product allowed to be sold
I wanted a good lightweight tinted moisturizer and was very excited to try this one out (I take care of my skin and usually never breakout with any new products). After one single day of wearing this tinted moisturizer (and the last), my face started to develop an itch, I removed the makeup and did my normal skincare routine which usually leaves me so dewy... unfortunately not this time. My skin was stripped of all moisture and not retaining any of the moisturizers I have been using for years. It's been 3 days and my face still itches so much. I did some research of Bare Mineral products and ingredients that could've caused this, it is called Bismuth Oxychloride. And its a mineral that is ground and clogs your pores. I literally have washed my face everyday and it feels like the product's residue will not leave my skin. It is drying, itchy, and irritated. After reading other's experiences I will never purchase this brand or that compound ever again
Color no longer matches
They changed the formula recently and now opal 01 looks way too orange. I'm very disappointed in bareminerals, I have to look for a new cc cream after using this BM shade for years.
