I wanted to like this so badly
This was the first product I ever tried from Curlsmith. First, this product heavily depends on what your curls can handle. I am assuming it is heavily oil-based, and my hair gets oily super quickly. A MUST try
I started loosing mass amount of hair about 2 years ago, unbeknownst, it was due to my Shampoo (Biolage/ Joico/Redken) and Conditioner (same). Started using Quidad, noticed less hairloss, decided to try Curlsmith and was absolutely amazed. I have very LITTLE hairloss, I detangle in shower and brush my hair after shower. I have also noticed I have no hair shed/fall throughout the day, usually I am pulling hair off of myself and everything consistently. My itchy scalp has also been alleviated and I have noticeable new hair growth. The scent is like a dusty grape smell to me lol This line is Protein ENRICHED, not Protein RICH, there is a difference. I do use it in conjunction with the 3 in 1 Conditioner in the same line, using it as a regular wash out Conditioner then as a leave in (emulsified w/water). It has not caused a protein overload. The bottle is horrible to squeeze, I keep a stash of pumps from empty random bottles, pump works great 🤣 For reference: caucasion, 3B ringlets, medium porosity, super fine hair, daily hair washer, sometimes twice a day.

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I've been using this shampoo for well over a year now and it's really helped me significantly recover from the heat and bleach damage I did to my hair in college. I know some people have complained about excess hair loss but I haven't noticed anything beyond the normal loss I experience from brushing and washing. I've also seen some complain about dryness, I haven't experienced that at all, but I do only wash my hair twice a week so others may be having issues with that do to washing too often for their hair, or they kay just need to use it every other wash. If you're experiencing dryness it may also be a protein imbalance (too much protein, not enough moisture). I also use a leave in cream to help balance the protein with moisture and it works great for me.

Not cleansing at all & too hard to dispense. I could see this working for finer hair types who need a gentle daily shampoo. I'm a fan of the Curlsmith Air Dry Cream. This.. not so much. Glad I bought this on sale. I will be gifting it.
Tried twice and NO
I tried this twice thinking it might be better for my hair the second time and boy was I wrong. My hair is even more damaged and my hair feels like straw. :(
Great Shampoo
I have long,fine, thin, dry, colored, wavy/curly hair. This is the only protein shampoo that rinses easily and doesn't leave my hair straw-like when rinsed out awaiting conditioner. I alternate this with Bondi Boost HG. This easily cleanses my hair when gets thoroughly greasy. I do make sure my hair is really wer when I apply it, and it lathers well. I bought the liter size and find that 1 pump is more than sufficient to do my my mid-back length hair. I do, however, not feel that the Essential Moisture Conditioner is not rich enough in conjunction. I use their Multitasking Conditioner or It's a 10 Silk Conditioner. The Multitasking also makes a great leave-in when needed. I also love the Moisture Memory Reactivator (on damp hair).
