Favorite Ouidad Styler
I like this product a lot. It doesnt have the most hold but leaves my fine 2C/3A hair very voluminous. The scent is very strong but ive gotten used to it and luckily i really like the way it smells. It kinda has a more masculine scent but i prefer that over floral, coconut, or too soapy. I wish Ouidad would come out with a fragrance free line. I like how this product has no protein! Ive layered a lot of this product in and it barely has any hold but doesnt weigh my hair down. I can use it to refresh as well and it isnt too sticky. I also have the gel in the red bottle but that can make my hair pretty flat compared to this gel. This product is very buildable and doesnt make you lose curl, but actually enhances your curls as you layer on. If i want more hold I'll pair it with the red bottle gel or use some hairspray after diffusing.
So far I like it. No instructions as to using on wet or dry

This has been my go to for bringing definition to my natural curls. I absolutely love that it gives me a gorgeous look without thr crunchiness of using moose.

Used with the co wash and my hair looks and feels nice and light! Enhanced curl pattern as well. Used after shower and scrunched let air dry and wet hands and scrunched to remove frizz.. perfect curls

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have dense, fine, s-wavy/loose spiral curls. I highlight my hair as well, so it's very porous. I hate how drying mousse is, even though it defines and holds my wave pattern well. gel is great for a cast, but it makes diffusing my dense hair take a million years! After a decade of trying things, this product has given definition, volume, and best of all- my hair is so soft! I apply more product than the bottle suggests but I have shoulder-blade length, dense, porous hair. I apply in the shower while my hair is dripping wet, though I've also applied post-plopping. I also have the best hold result by using a small amount of gel after applying. Seriously, I finally am LOVING my hair!
