Q
Hello, I was wondering if this spray, for example, when it's windy and my curls are well-defined and styled, prevents the wind from messing up the curls.
Asked by Nono
Official Answer By AG Care - Brand Engage
Thank you for your question. Curl Trigger provides a lightweight hold and is great for refreshing your style. We cannot guarantee that your style will be protected from wind. For strong hold, we recommend seeking Liquid Effects, Mousse Gel or a finishing spray like Ultradynamics. Had high hopes

I noticed this has magnesium sulfate, which was a main ingredient of my OG curl refresher that has long since been discontinued (John Frieda, bring it back!). Most curl refreshing sprays have too many humectants in the mix, which weigh down my fine, 2c-3b curls. I do like that this has some protein,...

Smell was off-putting

Hair Type Wavy Hair

I wanted to try this because it has good components for my 2b hair (a salt for wave enhancing, a film former, and it's a spray) but I sniffed the liquid from the neck of the bottle and couldn't stand it. If you're at all picky about fragrance, smell this in store before purchasing. The purple mousse also had the same scent but less pungent. Can't rate performance since I didn't try it, but just an FYI.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I use this to help bring life to my curls if there is a flat spot. It does a wonderful job!

Crunchy Hair

I have fine wavy/curly hair. I got this to use on my dry hair to reset waves/curls. This made my hair terribly crunchy and sticky. It was difficult to comb through after using. The smell was unpleasant too (slightly fishy).
