I bought the sampler set
To me, this smells similar to EAU CAPlTALE from DlPTYQUE. It's dark, smoky, smooth blend of a powdery rose & musky patchouli. It's a strong, long-lasting fragrance with great projection for a power woman. It's not for me personally, but I plan on gifting this.
Absolutely amazing fragrance!
While "window shopping" at Ulta yesterday - i happened upon the display with Octavia's stuff on it. I'd never heard of her or any of the fragrances. Tried one…ok. Tried Dark Rose. OK! *Sniffs arm again*…wow, this is really nice. *Walks away, come back to the display*. This is really something special. I didn't come in here looking for anything. Definitely not a new perfume. But here I am. The most beautiful spicy floral I've smelled in a long time. Strong but soft. So luxurious, so sophisticated. I'm so happy I stumbled across it.
Run, Don't Walk, SERIOUSLY
As an indie/non indie perfume girlie whose gotten my hands on countless samples in those sometimes annoying tiny freakin bottles, I kid you not this is the best rose scent I've ever come across. If your a gothic vampire princess who needs something sultry, sophisticated and absolutely otherworldly and glamorous, then please do yourself a favor and buy this perfume. Imagine purple trees with a hazy, misted and dewy morning sky, walking through a rose garden with a juicy plum wine in hand. It's delightful.
It's all in the drydown
Starts off a little bit like a jammy rose with a touch of soap. Not what I expected. About an hour later my husband commented on how good I smelled. I leaned in to smell my wrist and OMG the smell was intoxicating. Plum and Vanilla with a touch of Rose! 10 out of 10.

as someone who isn't a big fan of floral this one is different it might be a repurchase
