Sensitive skin beware
Did not really process or love. Breakouts flared and caused dryness. If the Effaclar La Roche-Posay Cleanser hasn't been good for your sensitive skin, it's totally understandable. Didn't fully use it
I received this product in exchange for my honest review: I used it once and then stopped because of the controversy this brand and product have gone through. Honestly I got scared. When I used it, it did its job in cleansing but my face felt super dry after. Mind you I have oily skin.
Must have for Acne Prone Skin Type!
This La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Cleanser is honestly one of the few acne cleansers that actually works without totally drying my skin out. It has a creamy, non-foaming texture that feels gentle going on, but you can tell it's doing its job. It helps calm active breakouts pretty quickly and keeps new ones from popping up, especially if you're consistent. It does have benzoyl peroxide, so I started slow to avoid dryness, but with moisturizer it's totally manageable. Overall, it's a solid go to if you're dealing with acne and want something effective but not harsh.
Strength, that's not for sensitive skin.
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] It's not a foaming wash, but I like that it had the benzoyl peroxide to be a strong acne fighting cleanser without the prescription. The only issue is it will irritate sensitive skin and irritated the crease of my nose. Otherwise, it think it's a good cleanser for people who need extra strength washes.
Gentle but deep cleaning products with no texture
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love how gentle but deep cleansing the product is. It spreads easily and foams well to wash face. Even though the cleanser has micro-exfoliating LHA there is no rough texture to the product.
On lar with their other products
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Packaging is the classic laroche posay, the oroduct itself works fine, it's one of the few products that doesnt break me out. Doesn't really have a scent which i like.
