Long Time Friend
I have been using Eight Hour Cream since my 20's (now 66). I bought my first jar when it was in a giant, beautiful, black and gold jar! I loved diving into that jar an using the cream on my face, hands and lips to keep them smooth. My husband even got used to the "scent" and loved it. Bring back t...

I really wanted to love this product. The packaging is cute and I was excited about finally having a nice salve for rough spots and cuticles. I have to say after opening this product I could not get past the smell. It was astringent. It smelled like floor cleaner or really strong topical medication. With that said I did give it a shot for the sake of the review and it did provide a lot of moisture on cuticles without being too greasy. I just won't be using it in the future because of the strong smell unfortunately.

I received the skin protectant from Elizabeth Arden in exchange for a review. I use this on my hands as my eczema can sometimes cause excess dryness and cracking. This cream is a little greasy and has a strong smell. That said, it is very good at its job. One overnight use of this cream left my hands feeling healed and smooth the next morning. I recommend this if you are prone to dryness and cracking.

I received the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Skin Protectant from the brand and Influenster for my honest review. It is a heavy, petroleum product, more like a balm than a cream. It absorbs but you have to give it some time to fully absorb. It doesn't feel greasy once it absorbs. It has a medicinal scent. One of the uses listed on the package l is for eyebrow sculpting , but I wouldn't want the scent near my eyes. (There is a warning to avoid eye contact).

This is a pretty moisturizing cream. I mainly use it on my hands and especially for my cuticles. I have very dry hands and skin around my nails since I have to wash my hands so much for work.

I have heard great things about this skin protectant cream over the years so I was excited to get a chance to sample it myself!! It is a very emollient cream so a little goes a long way but it did wonders for softening my skin and keeping it hydrated. I had a small crack on my heel and with applying this cream for two nights, it was totally healed. I was not a huge fan of the scent, it wasn't bad, just a little strong for my personal taste but when a product works as well as this one does, I will overlook that. I definitely recommend this great product!!
