Tanologist Express Tan 1 Hour Self Tan Extra Dark Mousse

I love love LOVE this self tanning product! I get the most compliments on my "sunkissed" skin when I use this! I have naturally fair skin, and this product gives me a nice bronze, natural, golden tan without being orange or green! I usually leave this on for 2-3 hours and when I wake up in the morning my skin is nice and evenly tanned! I tan usually twice a week and I always exfoliate before applying and it doesn't get noticeably patchy if i don't get every little bit off from the previous time! I only leave this on my hands and feet for 30 minutes to an hour because she is STRONG on those drier areas and most times ill use a light/medium tan on those areas and there is no noticable color difference! I do wish it dried down more, it does have tacky feeling while you're sitting in it. She does transfer, but I haven't had trouble getting it out of loose tshirts or anthing! It does have a scent after rinsing but I notice it more on my hands than anywhere else!

This was the first tan I've ever used, so it's okay that I was tan blind for 4 months. The tanner is good quality, applies well, and holds a deep tan for a while, but is just way too orange for my skin tone. Looking back at pictures I am embarrassed!!

I have been using this self tanner since it first came out - so I will give my review after using this for a very long time. This is a GREAT self tanner - if you use it properly. It does NOT come out splotchy, it does NOT have that self tanner odor (it's actually a very pleasant odor), it develops into a beautiful cool brown (not orange) and it lasts. I am very fair complected and cool toned and my skin LOVES this self tanner and I have tried probably every one out there. The trick for me is to exfoliate the body well, then apply (this mousse texture is 🙌🏻) - I leave it on for 5 to 6 hours before rinsing off in the shower. The color is phenomenal, believable, and natural. 💜🎯💯 I use this year-round and it's my favorite.

I've tried just about every self-tanner brand on the market over the past 10+ years and this is by far my favorite! The guide is very helpful for an easy application. I highly recommend exfoliating very well prior to application, regardless of whether or not you have old self-tanner on. After applying, I recommend using a hair dryer on the cool setting to dry your skin, ensuring the tan is dry prior to putting clothes on (it's a trick I've done over the past decade of self-tanning). An Ulta worker recommended this product to me and she told me that it lasts about 2 weeks. I honestly didn't believe her but after using it I can verify that it's true. (But to make it last that long you must: 1) Exfoliate perfectly prior to application. 2) Use regular lotion on your body after each shower, not including the day you apply self-tanner.) If for some reason you notice the tan fade a bit, I recommend using the Tanologist extra dark gradual self-tanner lotion once (do NOT exfoliate prior to applying tha lotion). I exclusively only use this self-tanner now because I'm obsessed with the results and now I only have to do self-tanner every 2 weeks! One bottle of mousse lasts me about 3 tans (with some left over) over the span of 5-6 weeks, which in my experience is a great deal!

I tried this recently while trying to save money. I typically use St Tropez express in dark. This tanologist made me orange. The mousse goes on easily and dries quickly with no transfer but im now orange. The product wont come off either.
