Love the eye shadow - hate the applicator
For at least the past 20 years I've bought my favorite eye shadow from CoverGirl. I love everything about it except the eye shadow applicator falls apart within a month. It's hard to find replacement tips that will fit into the compact. Time to up the glue game!

Why not more matte shades?
As a working woman over age 50, it's inappropriate for me to be wearing shimmery or glittery shades to work. CG, have you forgotten about us older ladies and our need for a matte finish that will not only fill in our wrinkles but make us look good?

Why the change? The new quads have too much sparkle. I've loved the sheerly nude quad for years but apparently it is no longer available to purchase. The new quads are not a replacement option. Now the search is on for a new eye shadow--such a pain in the behind. You know the old saying--if it ain't broke..........? Covergirl, please bring back the old quads!!!!

This shadow is the best, I love its versatility and pigmentation. Just one swatch is enough. I love using it to highlight my eyelids. The powder is super soft. The packaging is very dynamic and the best thing is that you can take it anywhere.

Not the same product as before. I used to love this quad and have used it for well over a decade. Not only is the new shadow excessively glittery but it's also too powdery (too much talc) the product ends up all over face. Eyeshadow should be just that, for the eyes. Why change a perfectly great product?

I have worn Tapestry Taupe eye shadow (single pack) for SO many years. It was always great. I would layer it over Bedazzled Biscotti (now discontinued) and the combo looked great. I don't know why they have now changed the color. Tapestry Taupe is now very light with a whole lot more shimmer. I thought they made my eyes look rather sickly. I threw it out. NOW I'll have to find a replacement with Maybelline or Loreal. I'm SO BUMMED!!!! Why change such a long time beloved product.
