How to blow out your hair:
- Select Rough Dry Style Mode. Using the drying concentrator, rough dry hair to remove excess moisture. To style, attach the styling concentrator, then select Volume Style Mode. Divide hair into 3-4 inch sections. Place a barrel brush beneath the first section, starting at the roots. Follow the brush with the dryer, pulling through to the ends of the hair. When you reach the ends, roll hair back up to your head and hold. Continue styling this way until the section is dry. Release and move on to the next section. Press the Lock-in Cool Shot button to set your style with cool air.
How to diffuse your hair:
- Attach the T3 SoftTouch 3 diffuser to your T3 Featherweight StyleMax professional hair dryer. Select Diffuse Style Mode, then blow dry hair focusing on the roots. While drying, "scrunch" the hair with the diffuser from ends to roots to define waves and curls.
How to prep curly hair for flat iron styling:
- After detangling hair, attach the T3 Smoothing Comb to your T3 Featherweight StyleMax professional hair dryer. Select Smooth Style Mode. Divide hair into 3-4 inch sections, then run the comb attachment teeth through hair from root to tip. Continue styling this way until the section of hair is lengthened and straight. Release and move on to the next section.
Pre-caution: Do not wrap the power cord around the dryer as this may damage the electrical wiring. Consult the enclosed user guide prior to use. Allow comb attachment to cool down before removing; do not handle immediately after use.

Attachments poor quality
Whike the dryer itself is fine, the attachmenta are made poorly and break easily. Also the after market back comb attachment constantly falls off. It wasnt made for this dryer. Save your money and buy a better dryer.
Doesn't last long
I use the blow dryer 2 times a week and its a year and half old and stopped working sadly thank goodness i saved my old girl and favor blow dryer that has been reliable for 6ish years
Definitely not "Featherweight"
I love this brand and their tools for the most part. This dryer has several pros and cons I wish I had known about before purchasing because it is quite expensive. I do believe there are better options for the price point. The name of the dryer is also misleading because it is not lightweight at all. It has a good assortment of attachments for different types of styling. I like the automatic settings for each attachment and the ability to change the heat settings or the power settings. The attachments are fairly easy to switch out. However, if you have a lot of hair, get ready for tired arms. The dryer on it's own is quite heavy. So I'm not sure why it's called Featherweight? I use the diffuser attachment the most and it makes the dryer even more heavy and bulky. T3 has better options available now. (I've had this one around 6 months or so.) Another issue is the cool shot button. It's placement on the dryer makes it very easy to accidentally turn it on without realizing it until you feel the cold air. Storage might also be an issue or something to consider as well. Since it is a bigger dryer with several attachments. It's definitely not travel friendly. Overall, I would opt for one of their different hair dryers. Like I said, I do love this brand. Just not this particular dryer. It is big and bulky and the cold shot activates very easily and unknowingly which can get annoying. I just think for the price, there are better options out there.

Very efficient drying system. The different modes help if I want to go straight or wavy that day. It also makes my hair quite soft, especially my bangs! Would definitely recommend!
Never again will spend this much $$$ for a hair dryer
Bought this July 2023 with my Ulta reward points. By July 2024 I noticed a small crack that had formed around the entire control panel. T3 sent me a replacement in July of 2024. Since I now knew to watch for an issue, by September once again a small crack has formed around the control panel. There is no warmth to the handle/control panel, so I dont know what has caused this. Would not repurchase.
