Can this be used on bleached hair? Stylist said must be alcohol free. This has benzyl alcohol. Safe or not?

@ I have thick, coarse naturally curly hair that's below my shoulders. I am looking for a gel to define the curl as it dries. Would this gel do that? My experience is....not anymore! I have the same hair type and have used this gel for decades, but I have very long thick hair so I purchase large quantities. I find it no longer holds like it used to. I can tell they changed their formula, so I'm searching for a new product moving forward. Sorry to have to change and wish the would return to the old formula. :-(

Why is this product not good anymore? Been using this gel daily for 35 years. Will PM correct this formula mistake? I would suggest everyone not buy this product for now. It is not good. Please don't list a number to call to answer my questions so all customer can benefit from your response.

Love this gel!
I've been using this gel for years. I ran out a few weeks ago and the big bottle is alway out at my Ulta so I had to get the matrix gel which I will be returning soon. This gel is so easy to use and blends well with other products. I have curly thick hair and it slides right on. It's not heavy.....

Disappointed...not at gel. It is liquid.
Used this product for years. Stock up when on sale, but this last time the product was liquid. Poured out onto my hands. Very disappointed. Sales clerk said they probably changed the formula. They then should change the name.

I have used this product for at least 30 years. Now I am having trouble finding it. Please tell me you are not discontinuing it. I was only able to order the medium size. Please do not stop making it in the larger size!!!

Please don't discontinue this product, I've been using it for years and it's literally the only gel that works on my curls. Since I haven't been able to buy this gel I've tried multiple other gels and nothing works as well. My curls don't last as long and look dry. I've tried multiple products and it's just not the same.
