Not sharp enough

I do want to disclose I receive this product for free and exchange for my honest opinion. I have used many different types of dermaplane tools, both cheap and expensive and I would say that this one is average but I have to be honest. It certainly was not my favorite. I will start off with the pros.... I do really enjoy that. It has such a bright light on it. That honestly does help you see a lot of little hairs or dry skin that maybe you wouldn't see if you didn't have it. I also really appreciate the fact that it is very lightweight and it is super convenient for travel. One of my most favorite pros about this tool is how easy it is to switch the blades. I have had other tools in the past that it is so hard to switch the blade out or the blade is constantly falling off And that was not the case with this particular tool. It also has quite a impressive battery life. Now for the cons, I will be very honest with you. I did not feel like this tool cut sharp enough. I do understand that this is made as a dermaplaning tool, and it could be dangerous if the blades were too sharp however, I honestly could not tell much of a difference after using it a few times. I followed the directions exactly as it said to use it and with my other tools, I have that are similar to this one after I do a session my skin feels super smooth. When using this tool it still felt a little bit rough. So I decided to try and use it for a different purpose, which was to cut my eyebrow hairs and peach fuzz along the face. Unfortunately, it didn't really cut much of anything, I could tell that if I used it around areas such as my arms that had longer hairs, it would cut them down a bit, but as far as giving you a completely smooth, cut or exfoliation of the skin I just didn't see great results with it. I did try to immediately change my blade out thinking that maybe I just needed to start with a fresh blade but it still fell short for me. I also tried to use it on my skin with a very lightweight serum because I have seen dermatologist recommend that when you are doing this type of exfoliation to use it with a serum or some sort of oil to give it better slip, but again, it just did not give me results . So I would have to be honest and say I cannot fully recommend this.
