After a long search, I found the right tool!
As I have gotten older, it's harder for me to hold both a hair dryer and a brush at the same time. I've tried a few different hot brushes including my daughter's Dyson Air Wrap, the Revlon hot brush and the DryBar 3-1 styler. Neither the Revlon hot brush nor the DryBar styler helped me achieve the s...

Damaged my hair
I was so excited to try this and it was so disappointing. The straightener attachment burned my hair it gets so hot and when I turned down the heat it didn't work. I have thick long hair and it would take so many passes to even get it straight. It managed to cause damage even though it was 90% dry w...

Wanted to love it..
I think the idea of this is really great. I wanted to love it but I really struggled with it. I have blonde wavy hair that is highlighted and it gets frizzy quite easily. I felt like the flat iron definitely didn't get my hair as smooth as my regular flat iron. The curling brush also left me frizzy. Curling tools were interesting but I felt like it took a lot longer to curl my hair than just a regular curling iron-you really can't wrap more than a small amount at a time. The cold shot button is difficult to find if the barrel is turned away and you can't see it because it's flush with the brush so I felt like I was overheating my hair trying to find the cold shot button. The curls also didn't last as long as my curling iron. It's really large and a bit heavy so it's a bit cumbersome as well. But I think that's the same thing with the Dyson version. This is still a lot of money to pay for a product I'm not thrilled with. I have a lot of hair but it's definitely finer texture so I think from the reviews if you tend to get a lot of frizz and have finer hair, this may not be the best for you.
Heavy
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I had to return this becuase it was very heavy.
Wanted to love it...
I really wanted to love this, but it's not for me. I was hoping it would replace multiple different hair tools (blow dryer, Drybar round brush dryer, flat iron) but I returned it. Pros/cons below Pros: bang for your buck-u get multiple styling options for the same cost as a Dyson airstraight Cons: 1) Heavy-it is heavier than any of my single styling tools so my arms got tired after a while. I compared the round blow out brush to the Drybar one I have, and they perform the same. The straightener hurt my thumb for some reason and I dont have this problem with a flat iron. 2) Loud-on the highest setting, it hurt my ears. Level 1/2 Heat was fine tho. Definitely louder than my Drybar. 3) There is no way this wouldn't damage hair after a while. On level 2/3 heat, my hair was hot to the touch and it is thick already. I imagine for fine hair, it might be too hot. 4) the straightener will not get your hair straight after just one pass. If you look at review videos, you have to get it dry, then use the dry function over it, etc. The next day I had to touch up with my flat iron again so in the long run, took longer than regular low dry + flat iron. I have wavy hair so it shouldn't be that difficult
Love love love
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have thick hair and this has been amazing at giving me beautiful blowouts. I haven't used all the parts yet other than the air wrap inserts but even just that made it worth it!! The curls last me dayssss and it's so easy to use. Would definitely recommend
Worth it
I own the Shark Flexstyle and was interested in adding the Dyson Airwrap to my arsenal. The price tag was hefty and it only has one feature. Then this product came out and i was so excited. I held off for a bit because of the reviews about it being heavy… and honestly… it's not that heavy. I don't mind it at all. I understand the frustration if you're coming from a classic straightener to this but if you've been using a flexstyle or airwrap already then you'll be fine. It's really not a huge difference in weight. Now, the place where you have to place your hand when clamping the straightener attachment is awkward and is definitely a learning curve. I have sheet gotten used to it after a week of use and I'm so happy I got it. I'm really excited to start taking it on trips, especially on cruises. I no longer need to bring a bunch of different hair tools.
