This item is a necessity for the liquid foundation. As such, the foundation should come with this item and customers shouldn't need to purchase separately.

A pump is IMHO a necessity with all foundations to both prevent waste and contamination to the product from touching anything on my hand's etceteras that may reenter the product after pouring and contribute to bacterial growth etceteras. While I feel that the pump should come with the foundation, especially at this price point. It's clearly worth the price to ensure my skin stays healthy. The quality is excellent, and normally, I would be reusing the pump in my next bottle. However, my last bottle fell on the floor and the glass shattered. To me it is not worth the risk of getting cut just to save a few dollars.

I was fine without this. I would just put some on the back of my hand and apply my foundation. I purchased this because when you get to the bottom of the bottle its hard to get the remaining product out. Now that I think about it, this probably won't solve that problem. I used it this morning and foundation splattered all over my top. It doesn't come with a cap to put over the pump. For the money it should be better quality materials and have a cap. Don't buy this!

I have used NARS foundation for years. It used to come with the pump and the top which fit perfectly over the pump...now it comes without the pump that you have to buy separately. Which I did...and guess what? Now the screw on top doesn't fit over the pump..... BAD DESIGN
