    Pretty but not as functional?

I love Wet brush, and have been a loyal customer for years. I typically stray away from this style with the slits in (rather than a solid or paddle wet brush), because they have proven to not be as solid for me. My husband got this as a gift for me, and I absolutely love the design and the color. It...

I bought this brush specifically because it didn't have one of those pads/cushions under the bristles and thought it would be easier to clean & more hygienic (those pads start to gross me out after a while just thinking what could be under there lol). When I first got it I absolutely loved it and it was super gentle on my extremely damaged hair! But after just a couple months the balls on the ends of the bristles started to fall off. Even when I was only missing like 5 of them it was crazy how much it started to rip my hair out and was super painful on my scalp. I know some people like to replace their hairbrush every few months anyway so this may not be a big issue if you're one of those people. But I personally don't replace mine for a good year or two so I need one that's going to last.

The end balls on the bristles start to fall off immediately. After about a month, none left and it tears the hair and scraped the scalp
