The Ordinary recommends performing a patch test prior to incorporating a new product into your skin care routine.
Apply a small amount to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Use sun protection in the AM.
Contraindications:Do not use in the same routine as other retinoids, direct acids, pure or ethylated vitamin C, or "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1%.

So I just found out here that this needs to be refrigerated. Also just noticed on the label that it's only good for 3 months after opening! Amazing product
Gentle and Hydrating Retinoid
I bought this product after looking into affordable retinols and wasn't disappointed. The reviews for the retinol in squalene was said to be oily, so I chose the emulsion. Its very hydrating without being greasy. I haven't experienced any negative affects from using this product, though I advise anyone using retinoid to ease into using it. I haven't used it long enough to speak on it's long-term affects (about a month).

Awesome Stuff!
I was concerned with dark spots, acne scars and wanted to refine my pores. This helps with all those issues and feels nice on my skin. I have acne prone skin & rosacea and it didn't cause any issues with that at all.
Neck Serum
I use tretinion on my face but this is my perfect neck treatment. Affordable and more effective than overpriced creams to target the neck. This is gentle enough for my neck but strong enough to work. I noticed better elasticity and hydration, as well as a reduction in lines. No more wasting money. I follow with my regular moisturizer.
