Grande Cosmetics GrandeLASH-SEPARATOR Lash Separating Comb

so, I love this thing. it works SO WELL. but the down side: I used it once, cleaned it, and while GENTLY I MIGHT ADD, cleaning the comb and wiping the prongs, the end rounded protective prong just pulled right out. no pressure, no tugging, it just slid right out. after putting pressure on the others slightly I'm thinking this was not secured/glued in. luckily I got it on sale, but man. I'm SO BUMMED. but many of the other shapes just don't work the same. I have long lashes that easily clump with water mascara in particular brushes. I was so impressed with how well this separated my lashes and honestly lightened the coat that was on them to look more natural. that's another word of warning: if you don't want any of your mascara to come off with the comb this isn't for you. I like I said, like that but others might not. overall just be wary. the price in my opinion is quite High to be falling apart the way mine did. purchase with caution

so the reason I have mixed feelings, is because functionally this product does exactly what I wanted to: it separates my lashes beautifully and extends the whole length of my lid or at least 98% of it. I have very long lashes and with what are mascara they clump very easily. unfortunately the negative review comes in with how cheaply this is made. upon first cleaning attempt of the prongs with a makeup remover round, the end rounded prong pulled up without any force needed. right out, like butter. and I literally used it once before this happened. the other problem is that I was upset so I let it sit for a couple of days, went back to it to disinfect it and just to screw it I'll still keep it I just have to be careful, I pulled out another makeup remover pad to get what little mascara had dried in between the prongs and I noticed some discoloration along the prongs where they insert into the product. realize it wasn't working too well so I grabbed a cotton ball put a little rubbing alcohol on it and started cleaning the prongs and I looked at the cotton ball to make sure the makeup was coming off and saw this brownish yellow color on it and then I looked down at the eyelash separator and realize the painted coating whatever it may be, was coming up and it was being removed not only from the alcohol but it was coming up with the makeup remover prior which is why the color of it had changed I just didn't really realize it. so like I said very mixed feelings about it because it does its job but just the quality control is not there and at least I bought it on sale but for the price I paid I would expect far more out of something this simplistic. so if you want something that does this job well and you're willing to take the risk or take a loss in maybe a month or two go for it because it does its job. like if you need it for specific events I would go for it because it's highly functional, but if you are looking for something long-lasting unfortunately this is not it

I have purchased numerous lash separators the last couple of years; different materials, designs and price points. They all have either broken easily or I've had issues accidentally poking myself in the eye (ouchy). I received this one for free with a purchase and will never look back. This one is durable, effective, easy to clean and safe. I would definitely purchase one.

Though it can be a little tricky at first, you'll definitely figure it out and enjoy this product 100%
