I love it!
I want to start off by saying that I use this product with the shampoo for even further amplified results. The first time I used this product, however, it left my hair feeling amazing. Like nothing I'd ever tried before. Soft, smooth, absolutely no frizz. The texture is a little slimy and I would re...

Stinky and inneffective
I have 3C hair that I am growing back post chemotherapy and breast cancer treatment. I tried this hoping it would nourish my returning hair and nourish my scalp. I don't recommend it at all. I hate to throw away something so expensive but after half a dozen uses it went in the bin! The first thing I...

Something in this formulation my hair did not like. It left it stiff and dry. I am sure it's great for someone. Just not for me. 🥺
Formula has changed - and not for the better
I used the Haitian Black Castor Oil Goat + Coconut Growth Milk daily and my curls soaked it up and felt soft. I recently bought a new bottle and noticed the color of the product was different so I checked the ingredients list and surprise - the ingredients had changed! It feels like it just sits on my hair and my hair feels sticky and stiff. I'm now on the hunt for a new leave-in conditioner. So sad.....why mess with a good thing?
Stinky and inneffective
I have 3C hair that I am growing back post chemotherapy and breast cancer treatment. I tried this hoping it would nourish my returning hair and nourish my scalp. I don't recommend it at all. I hate to throw away something so expensive but after half a dozen uses it went in the bin! The first thing I noticed was the pungent odor. Menthol, peppermint and castor oil are the dominant scents. It was reminiscent of my grandmothers medicine cabinet! Secondly, for a smaller bottle it's pricey! Those two things would have been fine for a worth-it product but this isn't. My hair felt dry and straw-like. I noticed while rinsing that I had increased shedding of the hair I was trying to grow! I ended up having to re-condition with another product to repair the stripping that this product did to my hair. There are as many unique curly hair heads as there are products for them. This one definitely wasn't for me!
Formula change?
I don't know if I'm just imagining it but it seems like they changed the formula in this. My hair used to soak this up and be super moisturized. Now it just sits on my hair and barely moisturizes, it leaves a residue and smells different. I'm so disappointed because this was my holy grail product😢
Idk what happened

Was really disappointed- especially with all these positive reviews! It didn't do anything for me and my tangles. I also had to apply ALOT to even feel like it was working - and I have fine strands and thinner/medium hair compared to most. All to say is, I tried it twice, didn't work for me so I returned it.
