Perricone MD High Potency Face Finishing & Firming Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30

I do regular peels and wanted something with an spf. There was a brand rep in store so I decided to support her and give this a try. It blurs without covering or looking like makeup, the color is fine (I am a light neutral), it feels nice and I like a glowy finish which this gives. I thought the smell would disappear quickly but it does not and it drives me crazy. Very floral.

They had an esthetician at Ulta for Perricone. I had been on the hunt for a new foundation because i felt like mine looked great after applied but didnt after awhile on my face. She went thru what i use and recommended this. She said it would set me up for a good base after cleansing, toner and serum. And wow I love it with and without a foundation on top of it. It absorbs and evens out my skin. My skin just looks so much healthier and this is just after a week of using it. And this moisturizer was the only thing I changed out and my foundation sets all day on my skin so much better. Highly recommend this. Its pricey but so worth it.

I live for this moisturizer! I had such bad red spots on my face and this evened and cleared it out. I can just wear this on my face and people ask what foundation im using and i just tell them its a moisturizer.

I rarely write reviews except for those products that go horribly wrong or are make a stellar impression. This sunscreen fits in the latter category for its cosmetically elegant formula. I am 49 with normal, leaning dry skin that uses a modest moisturizing boost in the cooler, drier months and a sheerer moisturizer in the hot, humid months. This product applies easily, not patchy, does not pill or cause issues with my other skincare, leaves zero mineral cast, and has the faintest hint of rosewater fragrance that immediately disappears upon application. It is a thicker consistency in the jar, but smooths out and gives me a poreless appearance that masks the appearance of my fine lines. It is not at all occlusive and absorbs into my skin. If I don't have an occasional acne break-out, this is all I need for a nice, bare-skin-but-better look. Indeed it does appear to tighten, which I thought was a marketing ploy, though I think it's more of a smoothing effect over my minor imperfections. Though, it does leave a slightly firm feeling when completely dried, which is why I believe this is not just hype. Despite the thicker consistency in the jar, it's semi-moisturizing and not at all greasy, leaving a satin skin finish/slight glow. I could wear this just as easily in the winter as in peak humidity in the summer. For this reason, I wear this on no makeup days, or when I plan to wear a lighter serum foundation on top so that I don't erase the slight glow this leaves. I've tried hundreds of sunscreens, and this is in the top 5 of pleasing consistency, which is not at all what I expected. Expensive at retail price, I will definitely repurchase if it is part of a future 21 days of beauty steal. One caveat aside from the aforementioned hint of fleeting fragrance...any antioxidants this contains will likely be oxidized/rendered less effective in the jar packaging. I use skincare with plenty of actives, so this doesn't bother me, but my points is this should not be your sole source of skincare.

This cream is so special, it really has everything you'd want. The "tint" is so minimal that you might not know it was tinted upon application, but it add the most beautiful finish. It leaves skin with a healthy glow and subtle warmth while also refining pores and making skin look so great! Huge plus that it wears well under makeup with zero pilling and has sunscreen! I've repurchased this and continue to do so.
