I LOVE the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. It is very versatile, alone, mixed with foundation, or on top of foundation where you desire a youthful glow. I'm 72 and enjoy a glow on my face instead of a dry matte finish. I keep experimenting with the product to find other ways I might use it
Don't understand the hype
I've tried this as a base, as a standalone, as a highlighter. It's nice. I just don't see how it's worth as much as I paid for it. Maybe on sale it'd be worth it. You don't need as much foundation so that's a plus! It is glowy, but you'd need to use a lot to get very shimmery results. I can't see it as a highlighter. And honestly I prefer my regular primer over this. If I want a heavier makeup look, I'll put this on underneath. But I wouldn't buy this again
I wish I could give this more than 5 stars
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Lately I've been getting compliments on my skin and makeup and the only thing I've changed up is adding this to my makeup routine. The Hollywood flawless filter can be worn in its own and give a blurring and illuminating effect for that glass skin look or it can be used as a primer before applying your everyday makeup. What I notice about it is that it does help even out my skin tone with just a bit of color and gives me a glow that makes my complexion look like I'm glowing from within. I'm using the shade 4 medium in the video at the end. It comes in a glass bottle with a large doe foot applicator and packaged in a unicarton that has an old Hollywood flair. I will definitely be buying this from now on and have been recommending it to anyone else who wears makeup, I even had my boyfriend wear it so he could see the wonders it works and he loved that it looked like his skin was just glowing and blurred.
