Doesn't really emulsify/there is residue
It feels like luxurious honey, it smells incredible, love the packaging and the name, and my skin feels nourished afterward BUT...there is always so much residue that won't wash off. I can't rinse this off at the sink. I tried to and it didn't feel clean, even after I followed up with my gel cleanse...

Doesn't remove make up
This product is more like a slime toy for kids than a makeup remover. I've tried using it with warm water and cold water (as instructed) and neither removed my make up. I don't think it would even budge make up if you didn't scrub repeatedly. I get that you're supposed to feel moisturized after using but your skin just feels greasy. This is not a good first step product for double cleansing.
Not a fan of the texture
I didn't like how this felt on my face after rinsing with water - I felt like it left some kind of film on my face that wasn't pleasant.

MOST Hydrating Cleansing Balm
I've used many cleansing balms to remove my makeup at night both high end and affordable and this cleansing balm is the only one that even the next morning my dry skin still feels extra moisturized. So while it does remove most of my makeup I repurchased another 2 because it makes my skin feel and look amazing.
Better products available
I doubke cleanse, so I am familair with oilbased cleaners. The residue this leaves behind does not go away with the follow up cleanse. It doesnt remove makeup (which I would want from an oil based cleanser). It smells awful - like youre rubbing dirty honey all over your face. The glass container in the shower is also not ideal.
