Does not remove waterproof mascara or liquid/gel eyeliner.
I will not buy this again. I bought it for double cleansing, along with my regular cleanser, from a different brand. I was going to buy a more expensive cleansing balm that specifically removes waterproof makeup, but I fed into the reviews on this one. I'm going to assume now that none of the review...

Gentle balm takes all my makeup and sunscreen off, including mascara and hard-to-remove sunscreen. I have purchased 11 times and counting. Affordable and easy to use. Not greasy like Elemis Cleansing Balm.
Worth buying
The good molecules instant cleansing balm is so smooth and cleans makeup of the face very easily as well as moisturizes your skin. I noticed that the dry skin on my face is no longer a problem. Highly recommend.

After searching for a cruelty free replacement for my favorite makeup remover I found this and havent looked back!! A little goes a log way, it doesnt burn if you happen to get a little in your eyes, it takes off waterproof mascara easily with little effort. Definitely worth trying!!
Great price but not completely sold
I purchased this to double cleanser along with the gel cleanser. I don't feel it completely removed everything and it does burn my eyes not sure which cleanser is doing so. No improvement so of youre looking for something that will change your skin the serums do so more than the cleanser.
