To Curl: Holding the tool with the base pointed downward, squeeze the clip to open the plates. Insert a 1 in. section of hair toward the bottom of the plates, beginning at the roots (those with shoulder length hair or longer may want to start the curls at the mid-shaft). Twist the tool while sliding down your hair and maintaining consistent pressure. The more you twist, the more defined the curl.
To Straighten: Holding the tool parallel with the floor, squeeze the clip to open the plates. Insert a 1-2 in. section of hair, starting at the roots. With your non-dominant hand, grasp the cool tip of the tool and slide from root to tip.

Can I use the ale Duo in Paris, if so do I have to do Amy switch to adapt to their outlets?
- Asked by Beverly Berry
- Official Answer By L'ange Hair - Brand EngageIf you plan to use Le Duo in Paris or other countries with 220V outlets, you’ll need a voltage converter in addition to a plug adapter that fits European outlets. We recommend checking the converter's specifications to ensure it can handle the wattage of the tool. Using the tool without the appropriate voltage converter may damage it or pose safety risks. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
How do I get the curls to last? I feel like they are gone within an hour.
- Asked by Kris
- Official Answer By L'ange Hair - Brand EngageTo make curls last longer, start by prepping damp hair with a styling product that offers hold, like a mousse or cream gel, before drying. On dry hair, spray a light layer of hairspray before curling to enhance hold. After curling, finish with another layer of hairspray to lock in the style. This layered approach ensures style longevity and reduces the chance of curls falling flat. Was this answer helpful to you

Pulled hair
Hair Type Straight Hair
I was influenced to buy this based on how easy it looked to curl hair online, but this thing was impossible to use! I gave it many tries, and it pulled my fine hair, did not glide at all, was a total disaster. When I returned it the Ulta employee told me they are returned all the time.
Perfect for travel!
I got tired of lugging around both my straightener and curling iron—this solves all my problems. It's amazing!
Trash
This thing is literal garbage. It catches hair and does not glide smoothly. It's incapable of straightening or curling, the only thing it succeeds at is pulling out hair. It makes sense now why it's all over TikTok shop.
Yes. Just yes.
Curls my whole head of hair in 6 minutes. Beautiful wavy curls just the tool i was looking for. The curls come out cold! So the curls last for days im not joking. Days. I will say it has a learning curve. Took me a few tries but once you get the hang of it you will not want to use any other tool
Favorite hair tool
I love this tool. I use it all the time. Curls last and straight hair doesnt frizz. I can style my hair however i want. I have breakage and damage but thats mu fault for not using heat protectant when using repeatedly😅
