Straightening from wet:
• Start with towel-dried hair and select Wet mode. Select maximum airflow and high temperature.
• Lock arms and rough dry the roots.
• Once roots are dry, unlock arms and select desired airflow and temperature. Straighten and style damp hair in sections.
Straightening from dry:
• Select Dry mode to touch-up or refresh your style. Select desired airflow and temperature, Boost mode is available if required.
• Straighten hair in sections.

If I could give zero stars, in fact, minus five stars, I would. Truly the most awful customer service I have ever received. I ordered the straightener on December 24th along with a vacuum. The Vacuum came within a week, the straightener never showed up. I chatted with my first customer service agent...

Worth every penny!
This is the most incredible hair straightener I have ever owned. The wet hair feature is amazing! I can literally dry/straighten a section of wet hair in one pass. All my hair can be dried/straightened in less than 20 minutes. On top of how quickly it dries my hair, it does not damage it at all. It is left feeling soft and completely frizz free. It is definitely not cheap, but so worth the price. I will never again use a regular straightener on my hair.
Very impressed!
I have long, thick, wavy/curly hair. Normally to style my hair I wash it, blow dry it, then straighten it and that takes 2+ hours. Then sometimes I curl it afterwards. I dont style it often to avoid all of fhe heat damage. I purchased this Dyson air straightener and gave it a try. I used it on wet hair and styled it in small sections. I got my whole head done in less than an hour! I was amazed with the results! It starightened my hair so well! Way better than I expected. It gave me a fresh blowout look and left my hair soft and smooth. It also left my ends very straight and not curly. I did use it to blow dry my roots a bit before straightening eaxh strand and that helped! The only thing I dont like about it is the device itself is pretty large and heavy, and the power chord is pretty thick with a heavy power box in the middle. Since it took me 50 minutes, my hand and arm got a bit tired. But overall, I am very happy with my purchase and I will be using it all the time! It does not cause any heat damage! It has 3 temperature sertings and I used it on the 230 degree setting. I would definitely reccommend this product!
a nice splurge
I have 2C/3A classic thin curls. My hair never holds a perfect straight so I usually go for a curl at the ends. Haven't owned a hair straightener in a long time and thought why not get this. I definitely love the way it left my hair. My hair is short and thin so it didn't take long to dry and style with the airstrait. I showered beforehand and used Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler by Drybar. *wish I could include photos but it won't let me*
First time ever trying dyson hair product
Alright, after years of me saying I would never buy this, I gave in. I just got this a few days ago and used it once. I don't think I will ever go back to any other hair straightener that is not dyson. I understand the price and yes, you get what you pay for. I am 38 and working on getting my hair healthy again. After years of coloring, it is very damaged and dry; which is why I started looking further into dyson hair products. Even after one use, I recommend the purchase. I'll write back if I change my mind.
Thick corse hair
My hair isn't way thick but it is way corse and this has helped it a lot with no damaging it when I straighten it.
