BEFORE LIPSTICK:
To naturally define lips, start by outlining the Cupid's bow. Then, switch to the outer corners of upper lips and draw inward until you connect the lines at the centre.
To enhance your lips and create a fuller-looking effect, trace along your upper lip line while gradually overlining beyond the natural border of your lips.
To create a contoured lip look, choose a shade deeper than your Lipstick to outline lips. Then, fill in the centre of lips with the lighter Lipstick, slightly overlapping with your liner. Blend with a 316S Brush to create a natural-looking gradient.
AFTER LIPSTICK:
To add extra definition, line lips after applying your Lipstick.
WITH LIPGLASS
Outline or fill in lips completely, then layer on Lipglass for a high-shine look.

I have the shades Plum, Subculture, Velvet Teddy, and Mahogany, and look forward to adding more to my collection. Plum is my fave. The pencils last such a long time. Cayla Bliss, who works for MAC and creates content for MAC, does a great job explaining how to create contouring and to change the tone/look of lipstick with lipliner.

Mark cool space lip liner is perfection. I'm so glad I decided to try it. It's not too cool and not too warm, it's just perfect. I always have a hard time finding lip liners that don't pull too orangey or too red on me or too gray when they're cool toned and this is just perfect and true to color. Definitely my new favourite Mac lip liner and that is saying a lot because I own most of them!
