There are serious issues with the spring that allows you to open and close the iron to curl. Silky, smooth curls
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This was my first time working with a long-barrel curling iron, and I was excited to try it on my hair. My hair is long and somewhat thin on the ends. I have color-treated hair, so it does frizz from damage. This curling iron took my frizz and transformed it into healthy, silky, soft-looking hair. I was amazed at how well it worked. The curling iron has nanoionic minerals fused to the barrel and a bioceramic heater, which means healthier, faster styling time without damage, and it hydrates hair, leaving it in better condition. It's crazy to see a heated hair tool improve your hair by sealing and smoothing the cuticle while being so gentle. Having a longer barrel, I found it easier to reach the back sections of my hair, and I could take wider chunks at a time. This is a 1.25" barrel, and I was expecting more of a curl, but it turned out to be more of a loose, contemporary curl. I loved it. I didn't use any hair products, and the curls stayed for hours. It has six heat settings to accommodate all hair types and thicknesses. I like the 1 hour automatic shutoff feature and also appreciate the 9' swivel cord. This is clearly a sturdy, high-quality curling iron, and I recommend it to anyone looking for loose, soft, silky curls.
