    Great for oily skin

I have super duper oily skin, suffer from cystic acne and often have makeup meltdowns halfway through the day. I've been using Laura Mercier (spelling???...oops) and I ran out. I usually use the Derma blend in one of the darker colors (I can't remember what it's called-Saffron, I believe)....My best...

    Darkened my concealer

For some reason or another, my under eye concealer would turn two shades darker as soon as I applied this setting powder. I tried it with different brands and kinds of concealer and the same thing happened. I know it sounds strange, but I think it happens because of an ingredient oxidizing upon appl...

A new staple for my daily routine

Ok, so, I'm just learning about and exploring setting powder. Now that I've started it's something i can't live without. I love the way it blends my makeup and leaves my face with a matte natural looking finish. I put a lot on my face and then blend out a few minutes later. Considering the amount i put on i love how it doesn't leave me with looking cakey. I am 44 and it settles into the fine lines in my eyes nicely. I will definitely repurchase. My only complaint is the shades are either too light or too dark for me, but i mix the 2 and the shade is perfect.

    Changed the formula!

I have used this powder for the past, however many years and always loved it. I've always considered it the BEST powder. After being out of stock for a couple months, I ordered a bunch to stock up… I thought I was going crazy when I thought the product changed, until I started reading the reviews below. Please bring back the old formula! This stuff cakes up in one spot and turns an orange/copper color. It never used to do this! I am so sad!!

    Do not recommend

    Submitted 22 days ago

    By Poor quality/High price

    From Des Moines, Iowa

This powder goes on smoothly and looks great at first, but the wearability is horrible. I do not have extreemly oily skin, but I do have spots that ocassionally get a little shiny at the very end of the day(think t-zone). By mid-morning, my entire face looked like an oil slick with this powder. It began to seperate and clump in a huge oily mess all over my face. It looked like I had been out in the desert all day by the end of the day- I sit in an airconditioned office all day. Would not reccomend, there are way better loose powders out there at half rhe cost- I really like the loose translucent powder by Revolution Beauty(better price and wearability in my opinion)

    Oxidizes and Bad smell

    Submitted 23 days ago

    By Ashley

    From TN

Wanted to love it but it turned my makeup so orange and spotchy. It had a really strong chemical smell (At first I thought it was the powder puff, but it was actually the powder). Not impressed at all. Even the Ulta employee at checkout when I returned it said she did not like this powder either.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
