Not impressed
Not overly impressed. I set iron to about 400 to start, used iron and yes it shows waves but more of a crimped style wave. Works As Intended
This product isn't meant to make harsh curls or big waves. It's meant to give a slight wave to the hair. Think mermaid or a day at the beach. Using it gives me the same effect as when I take out a braid. Don't expect more than that. Yes, there is a hot smell to the hair after. The same as when you use a flat iron. Definitely use a heat protectant, but it completely works as intended. Do I think it's a necessary tool? No, but if you want that instant braided look then this will do that.

Use heat protection, usenon default setting (360?) no more than that. Round barrel side up. Best waver ive used.
Not worth it
I purchased this item on sale and used it on my flat ironed 4a hair. Did absolutely nothing. No waves or crimps. I used it on the highest temperature.
Clumps of hair fell out
This is a horrendous product ! Just like the other reviews, hair smelled burnt for days on top of that hair was fried, even though I did not have it on a high temperature and literally clumps of hair were falling out even at school. I was so embarrassed. I had to cut about 3 inches off of my hair. I had to go a second time to the Hair Salon just to try to get the burned smell out of my hair. After all this, it caused me so much anxiety and depression. I don't ever wanna use a hot tool ever again.
Horrible
The style isnt worth it with this product. My hair instantly smelled burt and had horrible texture because my hair was fried.
