Does this product replace my moisturizer? How about my primer? JUST turned 40, so no deep lines or wrinkles, but I definitely benefit from a smooth canvas before applying makeup, so a primer has always been a must. I'm just a bit naive about it all! My routine is relatively simple: cleanser, moisturizer, primer, and then my own mixture of foundation/glow drops/moisturizer. While I own every possible serum, masque, etc, the reality is that things need to be simplified if I'm going to use them. Plus, I hate heavy foundation, hence my foundation mixture! On days I'm catching a train at 7am, in the city all day, and not getting home until 10pm, I incorporate fixing and/or setting spray — especially if the weather is going to mess with my makeup. So please tell me how this product (that I'm excited to try!) should work into my routine? Thanks!

I don't like fragranced skin prouducts but this is a light scent. It feels nice on the skin and works great if you use in the morning after sleeping with moisturizer on. Then just using this before makeup. My makeup stays put better this way vs using with a moistuizer. If using with a moisturizer, make sure it dries down completely before foundation or concealer

A perfect base/primer
Love the MAC serumizer! Makes my skin so soft, smooth & ever so lightly hydrated. Great for a no-makeup day, but mainly I use it as a second step aftee moisturizer in my pre makeup routine. Makeup applies flawlessly over it. Works as an excellent primer too making a perfect base for makeup. Im 43 with dry skin.
